Tanzania Arusha – Mondul Estate Natural Coffee

This single-origin Tanzanian coffee comes from Mondul Estate in the Arusha region of northern Tanzania. Established in 1931, the estate grows Arabica coffee on Mondul Mountain at altitudes of 1,600–1,800 metres.

The coffee undergoes natural processing with extended anaerobic fermentation. Ripe cherries are carefully selected and hand-sorted before fermenting in sealed tanks for five days. They are then dried whole on raised beds for up to three weeks before milling.

Our tasting notes are strawberry, nectarine and candy, giving this coffee a fruity profile with sweet berry and stone-fruit character.
