Kenya AA Kamwangi
Kamwangi derives its name from the Kikuyu word "swamp," reflecting the swampy terrain that made it an ideal area for cultivating arrowroots. Established in 1987 under Mathira FCS, Gatomboya later became an independent entity in 1996 when it joined Barichu FCS. The cooperative is dedicated to collecting cherries from approximately 698 smallholder farmers for processing.
