In Kenya, this coffee boasts a delectable flavour profile with rich notes of chocolate complemented by hints of redcurrant, blackberry, and other fruits. The coffee cherries are meticulously hand-picked by farmers, ensuring only the ripest ones are selected. These cherries are promptly delivered for wet milling on the very same day. The parchment is then subjected to a meticulous process of fermentation, washing, and grading. Finally, the parchment is carefully sun-dried to achieve an ideal moisture content of 10.5 - 11.5%.
Surprisingly full-bodied for a decaf. I loved the smooth dark chocolate notes with a hint of berry sweetness—no bitterness at all. It’s become my go-to evening coffee when I want great flavour without the caffeine.
