About Yemen Haraaz - Jaadi - Anaerobic Natural Coffee
Masar, a well-known coffee-producing region in Yemen, boasts fertile soil and vast green areas. Located 150km away from the primary port of Al-Hudaydah on the Red Sea, the Sarat mountain range is home to Haraz. This region is renowned for being home to the highest mountain in the peninsula, Jabal An-Nabi Shu'ayb, and the critically endangered Arabian Leopard. It stretches along the eastern coast of the Red Sea, starting from Asir, Saudi Arabia, and ending in the Gulf of Aiden to the south. Due to the rugged landscape, the people of Haraz have remained isolated, preserving their unique culture and ancient growing traditions. This is evident in the architecture, with many buildings from the 11th century Sulajhid dynasty still standing today. The coffee farmers in the Manakhah/Haraz District, Sana'a Governorate are situated on Masar Mountain, which peaks at 2,700 meters above sea level
